Brett Tolman

Brett Tolman is a Senior Fellow with the ACUF and works with the Nolan Center for Justice on their Prosecutor’s Advisory Council (PAC). Tolman is the former U.S. Attorney for Utah and former chief counsel for crime and terrorism in the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee for committee chairs Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and then Arlen Specter (R-PA).

Along with founding his own firm, The Tolman Group, Mr. Tolman has remained active in Washington DC and around the country providing invaluable insight on the support for justice reform as a conservative prosecutor. Indeed, Brett Tolman has been influential in supporting widespread criminal justice reform in recent years, including the passage of the First Step Act at the end of 2018.
